6 or 8-Week Classes

These 6 or 8-week sessions usually start in January, April and September, with morning or afternoon, as well as  evening classes available, and run for an hour and a half once a week. Classes are designed for both new and returning students.

For T’ai Chi Chih the Beginners class covers all 20 moves in a particular sequence, usually adding two or three new moves each week after reviewing previously learned moves, each class ending with a silent group practice of the moves learned so far.Students may opt to do the Beginners class more than once to help deepen and refine their practice or move on to do the Beyond Beginners class. Once students have done one full session at the Beginners level and feel fairly comfortable with all the moves, the Beyond Beginners classes focus more deeply on the key principles of T’ai Chi Chih as we work on refinements, applying these principles to the various moves. Each class would end with a full silent practice.

For Wisdom Healing Qigong the class covers all 6 introductory Awakening Vitality movements over the 8-week period, adding new moves each week after reviewing previously learned moves until the set is complete. Each class would continue the practice and review, while adding a variety of other practice components and teachings as the class continues.

Students may opt to do the on-going class more than once to help deepen and refine their practice and maximize its benefits.  Returning students are encouraged and supported in focusing more inwardly and hence more deeply on the key principles and their many and varied applications in their day to day living.

Seijaku – Advanced form of T’ai Chi Chih

This 6 or 8-week class introduces students to the advanced form of T’ai Chi Chih which is called Seijkau (pronounced say-jaw-coo, with the accent on the last syllable). It is intended only for those students who have been faithfully practicing T’ai Chi Chih daily for at least 6 months to a year and are quite comfortable with all the moves. Seikaku incorporates a different application of the T’ai Chi Chih softness principle for heightened Chi flow. It has been offered in the past pending student interest and readiness, and as my schedule allows.

Suggested Donation:  $15/session …or pay what you can, when you can, if you can, as your circumstances allow ….

Please never let $$$ be an issue …  you can always “pay forward” by doing a kindness for someone else. We are all so connected that what we do for one of us we do for all of us.
