Winter 2023 Class Sessions and Saturday Retreat Days
Winter 2023 classes at The Lantern, 35 Barnes Road here in St. John’s, beginning January 22nd and going until March 23rd. Session will be 9 weeks instead of the usual 8 weeks to better accommodate more practice and integration time. Can preregister by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 709-727-7863. Drop-ins also welcome.

All sessions will be a GO pending sufficient registrations.
A Retreat Day at Virginia Water Contemplative Centre, 47 Parsonage Drive, St. John’s
is planned for Saturday, January 28th, 1/2 day a.m. for T’ai Chi Chih and 1/2 day pm for Wisdom Healing Qigong. All welcome for either half day or full day. May be another such day later in the session.
Preregistration is recommended for Lantern sessions … but is required for Retreat Days.
Drop-ins welcome at The Lantern as space allows.
NOTE: Masking is as feels appropriate for individuals.
Social distancing is strongly recommended.
Suggested donation: $10 per class at the Lantern … $20 for each half day at Virginia Water …
or pay what you can, when you can, as your circumstances allow …
Please never let $$$ be an issue that prevents you from joining us …
you can always “pay forward” by doing a kindness for someone else.

General Info re Saturday Retreat/Reflection Days
Retreat/Reflection Days are periodically offered at our Virginia Water Contemplative Centre.
These days are a mix of quiet time and time for both new teaching as well as refresh and review time.
Both new and returning participants welcome!
Virginia Water Contemplative Centre, owned and operated by our Presentation Sisters,
is in a beautiful peaceful setting on Virginia Lake
47 Parsonage Drive, St. John’s, just off Logy Bay Road near NTV building.
A lovely opportunity to “Retreat” indeed as you step back from the busies of life
and the weather’s teasing and treat yourself!
An anytime gift to give YOU!
If you can only come for half a day,
please still do come and take from the day what life and time allow!
All you need is a sense of adventure, and always a “beginners mind” …
Give your self a treat … a little “time-out” just for YOU!
Bring along brown bag lunch if coming for all day … will have the kettle on for anyone who wishes!
Times vary from full to half day.
Full days may vary, generally from 9:30 – 4:30 or 10:00 – 4:00, always with the option to attend for half a day.
Half days may vary, generally 3 hours, either morning 9:30 – 12:30 or afternoon 1:30 – 4:30
